I might be the only Astros fan that didn’t like Tal’s Hill. Climbing Tal’s Hill shirt. It just seemed kind of gimmicky, like they were trying too hard to make the park “unique”. I mean, there’s a fully functional train above left field. I think that would take care of the uniqueness factor. At least Crane got rid of that big fucking multi sign monstrosity that he had over left field. Worst idea in the history of the universe. Not to mention there was a warning track before you get to the hill, then the hill, then the pole. Crashing into it at full speed would be equal parts elite athleticism, absolute obliviousness, and bad luck. When they built the Minute Maid baseball field, they tried to reverse the trend of the “cookie cutter” baseball field.
What’s the history behind Climbing Tal’s Hill
Did some questions with both the stadium and the playground. Tall’s hills are quite unique among all the baseball fields, even back to history. But the extremely central area combined with the flagpole is in the playground back to the old Polo grounds. T-shirt design near me. They are not only the flagpole but the deepest part of the central school. In some parks, the extreme poles used to also be on the pitch. Due to injury concerns, all of them have been kicked out of the playground during the past few years. There are some rumors that this (2016) will be Hill’s final season at baseball but I have yet to find conclusive evidence of this. Climbing Tal’s Hill is intended to provide Astros news, views, and content.

Would have been a no-doubter if it hadn’t hit the middle of the flag pole. He ended up with a double IIRC.
