My brother sent him a plaque of you for Christmas. He told me one day he will be like Justin Verlander. I smiled then and I cry now. I could not ask for a better role model. Justin Verlander, I hope you love Southwest Michigan as much as all us natives do. So glad you had the opportunity to spend some time here this weekend. I hope you guys were able to enjoy some of the wonderful things this area offers. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving here. Verlander has always been a great pitcher. He struggled a bit after injury but the issue in Detroit wasn’t his lack of ability it was the lack of run support and no solid relief in the bull pen. Why do people always try to tarnish well respected top athletes by always throwing out PED insinuations?!
