The song is mainly Ronnie’s explanation of his love for dancing. He likens himself to a bird flying freely in the sky, nothing can bind and change. So love affair also can not hold his wanderers here and there. The song was played by a barrel-shaped guitar and the southern “scent” guitar slide was finally winged by Allen Collins with a boogie-style solo guitar in more than 5 minutes.
Many people believe that when recording this song, guitarists Ed King and Gary Rossington contributed the solo “trio” as when performing live. In fact, Allen Collins alone undertook the solo part of the recording. To create an effect that sounds like three guitarists playing at the same time, he played three separate solos on three different guitars and then used the overlay technique to mix them together. Gary Rossington was the one playing the first slide when Collins played the acoustic guitar.
