The Corgi has been around for a long time. It is estimated that they began to appear around 3000 years ago in Wales, England. There are quite a few hypotheses about the ancestors of the Corgi breed.
Corgi dogs for over 2000 years are used as cattle dogs. Corgi’s body looks “waddled”, but they are particularly suitable for this job. Due to the short legs and low body, corgi can easily avoid dangerous backstones from large cattle. They often bite the stray cattle to get them back to the herd.
