When Hela returned, Thor bravely fought her and won. After she died, Thor accepted to become King of Asgard because his subjects needed a reliable leader after Asgard was destroyed. Odin was the third king of Asgard before his death in 2017. He was the son of Bor Burison, the husband of the late Frigga, the father of Hela and Thor; and adopted Loki. He was called the “wise god” because of his wisdom as the king of Asgard. After bloody conquests with his daughter Hela, Odin eventually decides to reign the kingdom in a peaceful way. He ended the war and signed a peace treaty with Frost Giants and maintained peace in the Nine Worlds. When Thor threatened that peace, Odin deported him to Earth.
