It’s easy to ask for admission to an alliance when you face certain threat. Where was Ukrains urge to join NATO in 1991? We are also tired of fighting other people’s wars. Besides NATO, would any other country fight for them? China. It would be a new Axis, with China starring in the role of Germany and Russia in the role of the US. That pair would have only worthless vassal allies such as Belarus. Isn’t it crazy that congress passed $13B in aid to help out Ukraine in the invasion of Russia while many Americans are still financially struggling and a 4th stimulus check would greatly help out? What happened to “Charity begins at home?”? Americans know that even when their lives aren’t perfect, they should still try to help those who are worse off than them. [Serious] Why doesn’t the US and/or NATO offer Russia a treaty where it is guaranteed that Ukraine will not join NATO and all sanctions will be lifted on the condition that Russia ceases all hostilities and withdraws from Ukraine?
