It is only noted by historians that Madison was very close to Washington in the Wine Not Drink Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this years starting after the end of the Revolution. When Jefferson returned Madison drew very close to him and eventually his relationship to W ended. Jefferson never spoke in public and never attended the endless social events everyone else did but he had fabulous dinner parties with great food and great wine and there was beautiful Sally with her bachelor master to add to the atmosphere and there were her children as the house servants. Hamilton was another sexed up guy and those alpha males were not destined to get along. Washington, IMO, was known as not being intimate with Martha any longer which was a turn off to sex addicts like Jefferson and Hamilton. Jefferson saw like everyone else that Adams was a political jerk but he lost round one to him in 1796 and then achieved his long goal of being the President in 1800. Oh, as President his dinner parties were paid for by the taxpayers. (He certainly gets credit for the Louisiana Purchase.) Jefferson never spoke at the national service for Washington.
