In my case when I got involved too much in fandoms I put pressure on myself to buy albums and different merch just to fit in with the others and not to be left out and that is my mistake since i wasted money on not important stuffs. I still have my merch, I left out things that I really value. I’m also a bit sentimental about the things I bought with my money so I still have a chunk of merch in my possession. Staying away from something you love is really hard. You already said that you enjoyed kpop music then focus on that disregard fandoms and issues don’t get involve since that is exhausting mentally.

He now sleeps with a machine and no longer has intense lengthy multiple loud coughing fits nightly. We are in the same bed and I’m able to get the rest I need. He takes his machine with him whenever he/we are away from home.
